Vinted Users Express Displeasure About Sizing Changes
Shoppers are voicing their frustration due to a modification that led to products showing incorrect sizing.
This online marketplace has altered its sizing categories for female and kids' apparel without notifying all users about the change.

Countless users and merchants are posting online claiming that product pages now present an altered size classification compared to what was initially listed because of the remapping.
Vinted explained the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces.
The platform has recommended to check their listings and manually change the size if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction.
Measurement Approach Updates
Before the change, the measurements included one number and one letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features a letter and a range such as S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the sizing has been recategorised - for example a size L used to be a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.

One content creator, who produces content about larger sizing, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
Stephanie Gallen, located in Scotland, stated items she posted featuring size 14 markings were displaying on the service as size 20–22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they will likely be quite upset," she said.
Necessary Adjustments
Another shopper, from Derby, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the measurements for "each individual item".
"This situation is especially annoying, because of my ongoing medical condition and Vinted sales have been crucial after experiencing income reduction," she explained.
Marketplace Information
The app has more than 100 million shoppers, including 18 million in the UK.
It has become a favored option to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion where an unanticipated change within the service has received backlash: last year, the service retracted a modification to its shipping options after backlash from users.
