This incident caused the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
